I'm Camila Modena, I’m an independent digital illustrator, web developer and web development teacher :) I’m based between Barcelona and Rio de Janeiro and took illustrating from hobby to freelance career in 2020 after being approached by an ONG to collaborate on a series of books for children with disabilities. My drawings aim to allow you to dive into my weird little world of friendly creatures.

I make illustrations for a variety of clients, but my favourites are NGOs and independent small businesses. My work has ranged from illustrations for children’s books and t-shirts, to tattoo and logo designs. I also have an online shop where you can buy prints of my work to hang on your wall.

Each project starts with an initial discussion to perfect the concept, before going on to make the initial sketches and ultimately on to implementation. The project is a collaboration, and as such the client is kept in the loop along the way to make sure the process aligns with their vision.
